    If a man is going to a fair and meets a red hair woman he should turn back home for he will have no luck for the rest of the day.
    If a woman has a mole above her breath it is believed that she will be a lady before her death.
    If a cat when washing her face puts her paw over her ear it is believed that a very big storm is to follow.
    If the latch of a door open of its own accord it is believed that there is a stranger coming to the house.
    If your left ear is very warm it is believed that there is some one talking well about you.
    But if your right ear is warm it is believed that there is somebody talking badly about you.
    If your hand feels irritated or itchy it is believed that a stranger is going to shake hands with you.
    If a banshee is heard crying it is believed that there is somebody dead.
    If a man is putting potatoes in a field and he forgets about a drill he should go back to that drill and put the potatoes in it for it is believed if he does not do so he will have no luck.
    If a donkey is heard braying it is believed that there is going to be a storm.
