On this page

There is a rock situated in a shrubbery in the townland of Sallaghagrane or Drumhill which is held in great respect by the people of the district. In the penal days mass was said on this rock.
The rock is placed on a ditch and is shaped like an altar with large wooden cross on top. In former days this cross was very well kept but nowadays the same care is not taken of it.
