  1. There is a field situated in the district of Killyclug which is the property of Thomas Starrit. In this field a bell is supposed to be hidden. The old people living in the district say that this bell which was blessed by St Colmcille was buried in the penal times.
I heard my grandfather and the other old people who live around Killyclug say that this bell rings every seven years. These say that when the bell rings the sound can be heard for many a mile.
