- My native land my native all a long and last adieu.
Farewell unto sweet Castletown Drimdardagh hill so blue.
Farewell ye braes and river banks the Stank renowned in song.
Farewell ye hills and valleys my heart has loved so long.
A long farewell to the Bloody Bridge, Calhame school on the hill,
and the lonely grove at Bruckless where the thrush and cuckoo thrill.

I never will forget the time I used to make it roar.
My native land my native all a long and last adieu.
Farewell unto sweet Castletown Drimbardagh hill so blue.
Farewell unto the old crossroads where I did often stray.
When I was young and sweet sixteen in the glorious Summer days.
My native land my native all a long and last adieu.(continues on next page)
