    When he came back to the field every tree and bush that was around was lit up and the fairies were singing and cheering in them, he was afraid and did not know what to do so he had to go home without the gold.
    This happened to a man called John Doherty about sixty years ago in Joe Lyttle’s croft in the town land of Drummeny parish of Donegal. Co. Donegal.
