- Once upon a time a man named Spense near Drambarron fast was standing at his door when a fairy came up and said to him “your house is doing us harm and you will be in bad luck if you don't change your house to the other side of the road so he changed it to the other side of the road and one day the same fairy came and told him he would be in luck till he died.
- A young fellow went to a fair to sell a cow. Whe he sold the cow he was coming home. He has about eight or nine miles to go home so he thought he would stop in one of the nearest houses for the night.
