Boxty is a very appetizing breakfast. - Long ago in Ireland Sowens was a favourite dish. Sowens is a dish made out of oat meal seeds. The first thing to do is to steep the oat meal seeds in water for three days, then strain it. When it is strained boil the Liquid till it thickens. When it is cold it can be eaten with hot milk and sugar.
