    in the Erne.
    At the back of Condon’s house on the Mall are the ruins of a distillery owned by Mr. Miller. It was a very prosperous industry until Mr. Miller died and then it was closed down.
    Up the Higgenstown road a man named Laughlin used to make bricks. For many years this industry prospered, an the bricks are said to have been very strong.
