    Once upon a time there lived a wicked woman. She was half a witch and she worked magic arts on both man and beast. She drowned and killed and also kidnapped seven hundred innocent. She drowned them in the Red Sea.
    If a man was driving home in a horse and cart sh(e) would ask him if he wou(ld) kindly give her a drive. He would in fear of her magical powers. When he reached home his horses would be covered with foa(m.) Then the witch would
