said that a hare used to live in the fort and when it wanted its meals it would go to a house and wait there until it got the food. Then it would go back to the fort, and no dog was allowed to hunt that hare. There is a fort in Carralavin called cnoc a tighe. According to the people big black ugly men, Ghosts, and barrels rolling on the road near the fort were seen.
