  1. In our district potatoes are grown. The amount of land sown under potatoes varies from one to two acres. The farmer prepares the ground in early Spring. The lea land in manured before been ploughed. The potatoes are mostly sown in drills in my district. A plough is mostly used. In ancient times wooden ploughs were used in ready soil. Nowadays spades are bought in the shops. The ground is ploughed first and then it is made into drills. Then the farmer puts
