    One night about two o'clock a man by the name of Domnick Dyer of Brackloon Ballyhaunis left his home on his journey to Dunmore fair. As he was passing the Ballyhaunis grave-yard he passed a crowd of people with a coffin. They asked him if they might place the coffin in the cart. He said they could and helped them put it in. He felt his nerves getting weak and he put a bit of tobacco in his mouth and then he began to regain his courage again. After a while when he reached Granlaghan
