set to work to find the long welcomed treasure. After a long days work digging and finding nothing he was about to give up all hopes of finding it and to his great surprise he saw a mug and when he raised it up he next saw a pot and when he lifted it, it was filled with gold. He returned to his wife with high spirit. When the people heard of his cleverness they dis-liked him. Some time before his death it is said that he buried all he had left and people dug for it again but it was all in vain.
