  2. My home district is Eskerlavalla, and my town land is Claremorris. It is in the parish of Kilcoleman and is the barony of Claremorris. There are about 120 families in my town-land. The most common name is Killeen. There are about 16 families in my district. There is a man named Dennis Begley in my district. He is over ninety years of age. He can say a few words in Irish. There are three woods in my district namely, Miss Kelly's Wood, Murphy's Wood and Halligans Wood. There is a lake about a mile from my house. The name of it is
    Loch na nEanach.
