    after the priest. The priest tripped over a little boy who was coming in, but he got away. They ran towards Partry and the pedlar followed them. They came to a small stream and the priest tipped over a briar, and Seán fired at him but it did him no harm. Then the pedlar shouted to the priest "An sgian, an sgian" Then the priest thought o the dagger and he flung it at Seán and it stuck in his neck. Seán told the pedlar to draw it out but the pedlar drove it farther in and killed him.
    When Bingham heard that Seán was dead he sent his soldiers to bury the body in Ballyheane grave
