  1. Last year 1936 there was a bad thunderstorm and a fair amount of damage was done throughout the country.
    About midnight a flash of lightning struck Somers' house of St. Margarets. The shock was so great that Jim Somers was thrown out of bed. Luckily, no one was hurt, and in the morning it was found that only the corner of the roof was damaged.
