  1. Warts are cured as follows. Get a black snail in the grass. Rub it well on the wart. Then stick the snail on a thorn of a white-thorn bush. As the snail withers away the wart disappears. Another cure is to bathe the warts in water which lodges in the hollows of the flat rocks in rainy weather. Headache is cured by tying a woollen thread around the head. The thread must be tied by a certain person who has the gift of curing headaches. Ringworm is cured by a "seventh son" by putting his hand on the affected place. He does
