    The Care of the feet.
    Children wear booties when they are three months old.They are knitted of wool.Then at the age of ten months they wear boots to support the ankle.Very few go bare-foot in Summer except poor children who cannot afford shoes.
    The water for washing the feet is generally thrown out to the left or right side of the house and it is never left in the house over night.
    Boots are made and repaired locally as there are three shoe-makers in the town.This has been a tradition in their families for the last fifty years.
