- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)the coffins.There are nine forts in the school district. They are called forths or sometimes called rings or liss. There is one forth in the townland of Cortober, one in Fostry, one in Lisbrinney, one in Aughareagh one in baragh, one in Carn and one in Lislongfield. Some of them are in view of one another. There is a fence of earth round them and some of them are covered with trees. They are all circular in shape. There is no hole in the centre of these forts. Lislongfield Fort and Drumgrone Fort were once ploughed and set in potatoes. They are not touched now.
