Ar an leathanach seo
- Long ago people made their own candles. This is the way they were made. First some rushes cut and left lying for a day or two in a dry place. Then the skin was peeled off them and for or five of the white parts were twisted together and dipped in grease that was procured from sheep. This grease was called dip and the candles when made were called dips also.
