There is a by-road about one mile long leading from Dungimmon east to the Clonkeefy road; this is a very old road and is called the Bog Road. It was high about thirty five years ago and it was re-made. A lot of slane turf were cut from underneath. The road lowered and fences were put on each side. It is not quite safe for all traffic.
Another road a short distance from here towards the north, is Rutha road. It is about one and a half miles long and leads from the Mullagh cross-roads to Ballyhip where it joins the road leading to Mountnugent and Kilnaleck.
