In this district the roads are named after the townland that borders them such as Dungimmon; this road leads from Bracklaney cross-roads westwards to Ballyhip and another road runs through the remainder of the townland from Dungimmon cross-roads south to Raclaheigh. There are a great many forths in the townland; those probably gave Raclaheigh it's name. Another road runs north from Dungimmon cross-roads to the White Gate. A two eyed bridge spans a river at Kilnacrott. I cannot tell what year it was built in; even the oldest inhabitants around cannot tell. The bridge on Ross road, leading from Mountnugent to Finea, was built in 1883. By what was known then as Public Works a number of men
