  1. There is a well in Corrach a Bridgín called Tobar Dubh.
It is situated in a field of James Reilly's farm under a monument tree.
It is said that in former days when the funeral on its way to Kill graveyard would come to this tree the corpse would be left across the well and "Caoined".
This well was blessed by St. Patrick.

In the same townland there is a stone of immense size called Cloch Padraig. St Patrick is said to have visited this locality and knelt on this stone.
The tracks of his elbows knee and hand are impressed in the stone.

This information was obtained by Matthew Smith Coolkill, Kilnaleck, from James Lynch, Corrach a Bridgín, Bally-James-duff who is about seventy years of age and who heard it from his grand-father.
