    There was a story told about a man named Frank Tierney, Tierlahood, who got ready to go to the mill and also get his horse shod before going.
    He went to John Cussack's mill, Lower Lavey, to get his meal. On his way home, when coming towards Goggon's gate, the horse shied, and when the man looked, he saw a crowd of fairy horsemen going across the road before him. It was said that they were going to a fair.
    When the man returned home, he went to bed. On the next day he went to run a race on the Moher road with the same horse. When the man came home he took the shoes off the horse. Then the horse dropped dead on the street, and the man died also.
    It was said that the fairies took the man and also the horse and left an imaginery
