- There is a Holy Well situated in the townland of Carrowmore. During the Penal days mass was celebrated there, and people came from distant places to assist at It. There is a 'lone' bush growing beside it. The bush marks the place where the altar stood.
It is believed that if any person drinks the water he will be cured of any disease.
There is a fish in the well something like an eel.
It is said that it cannot be caught by anyone.
The well got the name of Poll na Cluatne.- Faisnéiseoir
