There is a very nice well situated in the townland of Carrowmore.
During the Penal days Mass was offered there and people used to come from distant places to assist at it. There is a lone bush growing beside it. It marks out the place where the altars stood. It is believed that if you drink the water it will cure you of any disease. There is a fish in the well something like an eel. It is said that it cannot be caught by anyone. The well got the name of "Poll na cluster".(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Faisnéiseoir
