  1. The bellows is used for blowing the fire up, from a small fire to a big fire. It is made from two pieces of wood in the shape of a heart about 3' in length. These heart-shaped slabs of wood are joined together at the sides by soft leather nailed to the wood at the pointed end of the bellows there is a pipe. Now, a pipe a handle is attached on the other end, which when worked up and down forces the air out through the iron pipe. There is a valve in the side of the bellows which admits more air. No forge can be without a bellows.
