The Walls field is called walls on account of an old ruin of a farm to be seen still.
Nick Devereux was evicted out of it and he stayed in the barn at our house for a while. He was put out of the house in the wall's field in 1856.
Mosey's field was so called because a man named Mosey used to go through it every day long ago.
The Bridge field was called bridge on account of the field joining the Whistling bridge
