- Ere last night about 3 weeks ago I saw a letter of an old hag's death. I was so over-joyed at the sad glad news I put my two shin bones in my pocket, my head under my arm and I run fifty miles of a walk sitting down every minute.

He said up on a hill down in a hollow where the wind never blew and the grass never grew nor Tom Fox never sounded his bugle.
I was going away and I thanked him. He would not let me away till he showed me some of his wonders. The first wonder he showed me was a whole lot of little boys + girls playing round a hay rick built with stones. The next wonder he showed me was a man threshing to laces into peas - one of the peas leaped through a stone wall and killed a dead dog. He was barking at a cat dying with the chin cough knitting her stocking
I turned the dog inside out + he leaped up + barked at me. It might be the length of a(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
