  1. Poor Little Jimmy was small and slight,
    His hands were thing and his face was white.
    His back was bent since once luckless day
    He fell from a height he had climbed a (?)
    And care or skill could never restore [play
    His youthful bloom or his beauty more(?)
    It was hard for the child when he first came to know
    He was stricken for life by so cruel a (?)
    It was sad for the boy when in time he could see,
    Little playmates and friends that were you(?) er can be,
    Shoot up with a growth like twigs on a (tree)
    And leave him below, a poor mishapen (?)
    But brothers and sisters, neighbours and (?)
    Loved poor Little Jimmy so slight and so small.
