  1. The travelling folk still call to our district. They are of three classes, gipsies, tinkers and tramps. The gipsies go about selling all kinds of goods such as pictures, laces, strainers and other small articles. The same gipsies have been travelling around here for many years so that most of the people are acquainted with them. They sleep in tents and spend most of their time travelling from place to place trying to sell goods. Some of them have caravans and they
