1. Graveyards

   

   Roinn Roinn Postáil

   There are five graveyards in this district. There are two in Coolamber, one at Boherquill near the chapel which is called St. Mary's. The other two are in Streete at the church and in Russagh.
   The big one in Coolamber is nearly square. It is a very old graveyard, but a big piece was joined on to the old part about forty years ago.
   The new bit is on the south of the old part, and is about six feet lower. The ruins of an old chapel is on the old graveyard. There are two or three people buried inside the old chapel the oldest date on any tombstone is 1738.
   There are not trees in the new part, but there are a few beech trees and under one of them the vestments of a Priest are supposed
