    Many old customs are still kept on in the district. On the first of May people get a May bush and put flowers on it and put it in front of the door.
    On May morning flowers are thrown round the door.
    On the 29th June a bonfire is lighted at every crossroad. On Holy Saturday children go round looking for Clougoes that is egges. All fools day is an old pracitise. It is always on the first of April.
    On Good Friday an egge is - put up and it is supposed to let a spot on the following Good Friday.
    The eggs that the hens lay on Good Friday are marked with soot in the shape of a
