    Toher:- a causeway - a path was made through swampy land in this district.
    Cornacrievy:- The hill of the branch
    Derrycrane:- The oak of the heavy branch
    Williamstown:- The town of William - a man named William owned this district
    Gore-port:- A port which was used by a family named Gores who lived near the lake
    Bob's Point:- a narrow stretch of land running from the road to the edge of the lake. It was owned by a man named Bob Stafford.
    Wiggin's Road:- A man named Wiggins had a house at the Cross-roads near the road.
