    other side and found two larg crocks of gold and he was indeed, very rich by that time.
    Old Patrick Reilly from Newcastle, Mullagh, Kells, Co. Meath. used to go to the bog very often for a bon of turf. On his way he went through a gap where there was a large flag-stone. Jack Lynch was Patrick Reilly's neighbour and he dreamt that underneath the stone was a large pile of gold. Patrick Reilly told Jack Lynch to lift the stone and see. Jack started but he got afraid and left it there. Then Patrick started to lift the flag and in the end he did and all he found was a heap of leaves.
    It is said that if the other man had lifted it that it would have been gold for him
