    was going on a message for his father, he saw a garden and it full of apples. Tom said he would get some of the apples that night. He went home and waited till the clock struck eleven, when the moon would be shining. Then he got of bed, and ran untill he came to the garden. He filled a bag full of apples, and he put it on his back and then he looked behind him, and he saw his shadow, but he did not know it was his shadow, he thought it was a man watching him. He began to run and he kept running till he came to his own house, and he went in, but he was frightened and he did not take off his clothes. Next morning, his father came up to pull him out of bed, and he was surprised to see him with his clothes on. At the same moment ther was a knock at the door. The man went out and he saw another man standing outside. The man asked him what he wanted, an the other man told him, he found a bag of apples, and that Tom pulled them intending to steal them. Then the father was angry, and he got the
