- Storm in 1902. It took a womans chimney off the roof and took it to the black bog.
The Counts stables were roofed with galvanize. It was taken off with the wind and brought it to the crannog.
It occurred in early spring. That storm lasted for one night but it did a lot of damage. The beech wood in Lagore was all blown down. The people were held up by the trees. There were a lot of cattle and sheep killed. The big wind in 1839. There was a ditch called skinny woman's ditch where a lot of trees fell but one only half fell and kept growing.
