I don't know who built it, or when it was built.
There is also a ruin of an old Castle in Clonmore. it is said that it was built after Cromwell time. It is very high and narrow. There is only a wall left now but there is no door.
There is an entrance down under the ground, and long ago proisners used to be kept in it.
I heard that there was a castle in Cortown long ago, and people lived in it. There was a dungeon inside, and Cromwell locked hundreds of people and they died because they were all smothered, some broke the door, but others died.
Cromwell slept one night and left the next morning and it is very unlucky to go down
