- There are ruins of castles in Clonmore Dunleer - and in Dillonstown, near Annagassan.Both have long been derelict.
Verdons lived in Clonmore Castle.And it is supposed Dillons built Dillonstown Castle.
- Behind Drumcar Church there are the ruins of an old Church. The walls are still standing - but crumbling.There are graves - within the walls - and headstones fixed into the walls.There are some very old headstones and some unusual inscriptions are to be seen on some of them of which we have written earlier in this book.The Graveyard is on a mound facing south west - Both Catholics and Protestants are buried in it.It is used by families, that have(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
