- In this townland there is a well called Saint Patricks well. When Saint Patrick was in Ireland he came to this well and prayed at it, while he was praying he left his staff lying on a stone, the track of the staff is still to be seen. In an other stone is the track of the Saints knee and the top of his staff.
Long ago there was a trout in this well and a man caught it. He was frying it ion the pan and it went in three deops of blood on the pan. There is a cure in the water of this well. An old man named Joe Kieran told me that long ago people came to this well and got cured. Near this well there is a big bush and on it are pieces of red flannel and meddels and walking sticks.- Bailitheoir
