    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    Once upon a time there lived an old couple who never agreed.
    One day, after they had had a few words, the man said to the woman "I am going out now to drown myself." "Well", said the woman, "away with you". "But, he said, "you must come with me". So she put on her shawl and set off.
    When they arrived at the river bank the man asked the woman to tie his hands behind his back. She did so. "Now", he said, "stand back and give me a push".
    The woman stood back, and as she rushed forward quickly he stepped aside and she plunged headlong into the river.
    "Oh, save me save me", she cried.
    "I cannot", the man cooly replied, "my hands are tied."
