    Long ago there was a lot of tailors in the parish.There was at least one in each district.They used go round to the houses to make suits of clothes.Long ago only tailors used only charge five or six shillings to make a suit of clothes.Some tailors used to sell clothes.
    Thomas Walle of Slieveloughane was a tailor.he used to go round to houses making suits of clothes.He was a very good walker.He walked five miles to a house with a sewing machine under his arm.he made a suit of clothes and walked home again with the machine.
    If the person went to the tailor's house to make a suit of clothes ,instead of asking the tailor ,he would charge more
