    to see it as it runs swiftly through the hay. Boys sometimes rob birds nests, and even kill the little birds. They sometimes get warts on their hands as a result.
    The swallow comes to us in late Spring and builds her nest in the farm yards of houses. All through the summer they fly around the air looking for flies which is their principal food. When they fly very low, their wings almost touching the ground and farmers regard this as a sign of rain. With the approach of Winter, they gather in large crowds and fly away to a warmer warmer country.
