- there is one path in a field and into a short cut to school. Its name is baby's field. Why it was called baby's field was :- a man was coming down the path one morning and he saw a parcel opened it and what was in it but a small baby :- he took it away. That is why it was called baby's field. There is a small road near my house and it is called the cols road. Why it was called the cols road was :-every Sunday you could not go between the cols there while be so many of them there it would be when the people used to be at mass they used to be there. There is a road leading from Buckleys cross to Templeglantine. It was made in the year 1913. There was thirty men working there and there was three men carting stones there with horses. The name of the road is Leabes hour it got its name was from a giant he is buried about 12 yards away from the road. There is a big mount(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
