- Riversdale inherited the Manor of Rathcormac from his God-father, Bishop Janson, Protestant Bishop of Killaloe, Co. Clare and it became known as the Riversdale estate. Riversdale had no heir and the estate was inherited by his sister from whom it was purchased under the Wyndham Act of 1903.
The townlands of Kilbrien, Ballybrowney, Knockanduff, Rathcormac, Curraghteemore, Lower Kilshannig, Gneeves and Redota composed the estate.
Bishop Janson gave "the Green" as a freehold to Rathcormac.
Farmers of the Riversdale estate had to go to Lisnagar House carting gravel and other things.
