- Over a hundred years ago there was a man lining in Grange making pishogues on every May Day
He went to a neighbour's field in which were the cows.
He milked a drop from every cow.
The week after that the neighbour hadnt a drop of milk
The neighbour's name was Howard and he went next day to the Parish Priest who said he would say Mass in his house on a certain morning.
Before he started Mass he said the person making the pishogues would come into the yard while Mass was going on.
He did and the priest went out and charged him with the deed
The man denied it and then fell dead.
- Long ago a certain woman had a workman who slept in a corner of the kitchen.
May Morning she went into a tub that was in the kitchen and said certain words after which she became a hare.
When she was gone out the working man said the same words and became a hare.
When the woman had done the pishogues on her neighbour she returned and changed herself back to a woman.
The workman not knowing the words she had said had to remain outside in the fields till next May Day when he listened to the words said by the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile) - Bailitheoir
