    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    There is a road from Ballybawn to Ballydehob. It was made the year after the famine with bushes and stones thrown down on bushes. The people that made it are very old now because they got no money. They had to go round to the houses for money to buy their bread.
    The ganger they had was Michael Callaghan who got killed in Wexford a few years ago. It was made very narrow. Before they it, it was a wide path where cows and horses used go through. Then the people called it Bóthar Cam and after it was called Bóthar Nua.
    It was only made from the cross below the shop into Ballydehob as the people of the district weren't able to supply them with money. They used start at eight o'clock in the morning and stay working until dark.
