Hiding-go-seek

Children stand round in a ring and above question is asked. Some answer seven, eight nine etc. The child who gave the question then takes any number he likes and stands off counting __ say eight __ and points to each child __ whichever child gets the number eight (he) steps out of the ring. The question is asked again and a number given. Another child leaves the ring and so on till all have left but one child. This child must then follow the others who have gone off hiding. He is then free to start the game over again when he succeeds in capturing any of those in their hiding places.
