Ar an leathanach seo
- To make a potato cake we get the potatoes, boil them, and then peel them. When peeled they are bruised and a little salt and the required amount of flour are added. They are mixed well through the potatoes and if it is too dry to knead a little milk is added. When kneaded quite smooth it is cut into eight parts each part called a parley. While this is being done the pan is heating and when the cake is ready the pan is greased with butter. Then the cake is put on and when brown on both sides it is taken up and eaten hot with plenty of butter.
