    A bird cradle is made from alot of thin rods. Before the cage is made the rods are put seasoning beside the fire.
    When the bird cradle is being made three thick strong sticks form the bottom of it. Then three more rods not as thick are put standing in each corner of it and they meet together at the top. Then many little thin rods are woven in and out through the three top ones so close to each other that no hole can be left in it large enough for a bird is go through.
    When that much of the cradle is finished a piece of a thin briar
